Institute of Creative Counselling and Psychotherapy

About Us
The Institute was founded in 1983, making it one of the longest established training institutes for psychotherapy and counselling in Ireland. It is our belief, backed by extensive research, that a core component of success in psychotherapy and counselling is the quality of relationship between client and practitioner. This belief forms our integrative model which we have developed over two decades. We draw on a number of theoretical modalities to create an integrative therapeutic model, including Psychodynamic, Person Centred, Gestalt and Body Oriented approaches. Those who complete our Diploma courses may work professionally in the field of psychotherapy and counselling. The Institute has been awarded full membership of the European Association for Integrative Psychotherapy.
